Jaime Taveras

Worship Leader

Jaime Taveras is a singer-songwriter, musician and teacher born in the city of Bayshore, New York. His passion for seeing lives transformed by the presence of God is reflected in his way of worshiping in song and teaching the word of God. From the early age of 16, Jaime began to be part of the worship team of his local Church and to lead a band composed of musicians from several churches.

Upon graduation from high school, and responding to the call of God, he went directly to train for ministry at IGNITE School of Ministry in Gainesville, Florida. Simultaneously he finished a Bachelors Degree in Music Education with emphasis on Voice at Florida Gulf Coast University and four years of theological studies at the Multicultural Theological Institute in the Florida. Then he continued his ministerial education at CIEM “Centro Internacional of Ministerial Studies “in Guatemala.

Jaime’s musical genre is best defined as contemporary praise and worship. In the year of 2017, his first album “Te Exaltare”, was recorded in Nashville Tennessee. Jaime has had the honor of participating with numerous artists and singer-songwriters recognized in the hispanic Christian community, such as Marco Barrientos, Christine D ‘Clario, Grupo Barak, Marcela Gándara, Jesús Adrián Romero, Tercer Cielo, and Raúl Sánchez and more.
