Joy to the world

Hillsong Worship

Are you feeling stuck in life’s struggles? Overwhelmed by challenges thrust upon you? Pastor Brian’s NEW mini-series; “Choose Your Suffering,” explores the idea of embracing hardships on our journey to find purpose and meaning. In this challenging message, Pastor Brian unveils his new favorite acronym – CYS. CYS (Choose Your Suffering) is perspective shift that challenges us to self-reflect and reconsider how we tackle the inevitable difficulties of life.

Suffering // Painful or Powerful?

Surprisingly suffering can either be painful or powerful. Thus, the way we view our struggles hinges on whether we’ve chosen it or it’s been forced on us. Pastor Brian uses the story of the paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda to guide us in some introspection – pushing us towards self-awareness. He poses a pivotal question – the same Jesus asked the man – “Do you want to get well?”

Wilt thou be made whole?

A question that calls for deep reflection on our desires, values, and motivations. It calls us to confront the victim mentality, take responsibility for our lives, and intentionally pursue meaningful change. It’s important to choose what aligns with our values and embrace it as an opportunity for change and growth.

Thankfully we don’t have to navigate the hard parts of life alone. Jesus offers healing and restoration to all who seek it. Through Christ’s example of sacrificial love and redemption, we find hope in the midst of pain and purpose in our struggle.

Now, dive into this powerful message and let it inspire you to embrace your suffering. Recognize that through it, you can discover resilience, strength, and ultimately, the fullness of life that Christ offers.
