Hillsong Worship
We continue to explore the beginnings of the early church and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. So, this week Pastor Davide tells the moving story from Acts 3. The ACTS of Peter and John healing a man who had been lame from birth. In a fresh take on a well known story, Pastor David challenges us to reflect on our own greatest need. This miraculous ACT serves as a reminder that God is ready and able to meet our greatest need. Pastor David speaks to our hearts the truth that; “You Are Seen.”
Moreover, Pastor David highlights the moment when Peter and John said to the man “look at us.” This is a pivotal moment in Acts 3! When the apostles speak these words, they tell this man that they see him and that he has value. It’s a call to recognize our worth and to understand that God sees us in our entirety. God sees our struggles, our hopes, and even our unspoken desires.
Refuge Church is a place that validates, and includes those often overlooked. In Acts 3, Peter and John give value to this man who was forced into the margins. A foundation of the mission at Refuge. This man wasn’t just healed physically, but he found a new community where he could worship and belong. Join us at Refuge, where we see and celebrate you!
So if you missed the sermon or you just want to experience it again, listen or watch. Join us next week as we dive deeper into the book of Acts and uncover how the early church formed.
